The hosting package resources have been updated.
Hostico has updated the resources of the hosting packages, increasing the space and PHP memory. Check the new specifications for VPS, Business, and Reseller.
Following a general analysis of the space occupied by accounts on various shared web hosting plans and VPS servers in an SSD storage environment, we have decided to increase the space allocated to Hostico packages.
The changes can be observed in the table below, they apply to all customers who own these hosting packages, with the exception of course of holders of custom hosting packages.
New packages
PHP Memory
It was also decided to increase the allocated PHP memory from
256MB to 512MB for all shared hosting packages. The Personal Maxi package will undergo a change, specifically the dedicated IP will no longer be part of the default features of this package but can be purchased as an additional option similar to the other packages in the Personal category. This change does not apply retroactively, customers who benefit from the Personal Maxi package will continue to have a dedicated IP allocated, the change being valid only for orders placed after this modification.
cPanel Licenses
Due to the constant rise of the dollar, the cPanel license fee has come to cost more than the amount collected for it, so we are forced to increase the license fee. Therefore, starting from April 1st, the cPanel license fee will be raised to 12.50 euros. The new license fee will only apply to invoices that will be issued after this date. Services paid in advance will not be affected by this increase.
