New account management elements for Hostico clients

Spring has arrived at Hostico with new features developed at the customer account level, aimed at optimizing general management elements, as well as the possibility of using a new newsletter-type notification system.

Invoice Merging

From now on, managing pro forma invoices from the account is easier than ever.
In addition to the previously developed data modification system at the pro forma level, we are bringing the complementary option of merging generated pro forma invoices.

This will become indispensable for individuals who manage multiple services in an account and do not wish to pay the bill separately, but prefer to make a single payment.
For those who have invoices in the account on different dates, we recommend checking the dates before consolidation, as the new generated invoice will be dated according to the client account. However, if this does happen, the invoice can be modified later with just a few clicks

Email Update

When we discuss the security of our customers' personal data, the Hostico development team is always vigilant.
Because of this, all updates to the main email inboxes associated with customer accounts can be carried out entirely from the Hostico interface without the need for additional procedures.
You only need to attach a proof of ownership, and we will take care of the rest. For individuals, a copy of the identity document is sufficient, and for companies, the registration certificate is also required.

Upon validation of the information, an operator will confirm in writing the change of the email address.
All documents submitted for updating the email address will be retained in accordance with the Hostico privacy policy and data protection.

Newsletter System

Until now, opting for the notification system consisted of a relatively simplistic subscription, which did not offer much flexibility in choosing the messages received.
This drawback was due to the rigidity of the application used in the development of the platform; however, with the reconstruction from scratch of Hostico, we now have the necessary fluidity to offer you a complex newsletter-type notification system.

The structure of messages is divided into distinct categories, some being checked by default for all customer accounts, while others are optional:

Mandatory:

• Maintenance / Interventions (technical actions / actions of a technical nature on equipment and services that may lead to interruptions of these)
• Services (pricing updates, service removal, service update, etc.)
• Legal (update terms and conditions, etc.)

Optional:

• Promotions (rates or promotional coupons)
• News (implementation of new services and features, documentation within Hostico or Awesome Projects)
• Security (various security recommendations)

Enabling or disabling notifications can be done from the Hostico client account by accessing the section User

Bank Accounts

Starting with the date of 28/04/2022, the bank accounts belonging to Awesome Projects SRL (owner of the Hostico brand) have been transferred to Banca Transilvania, moreover, those who choose to pay in dollars will now have a USD account available:

Old accounts from Romanian Commercial Bank will remain active for a period, until the transition takes place successfully, after which they will be deactivated. Therefore, we recommend individuals who hold templates in banking applications to update their IBAN account, to ensure the most efficient transaction processing.
